When is the best time to come?
There is always something rideable all year round but the best freeride months are march-june and september-november. Summer is hot and dusty and the town is busy. In winter there is risk of snow higher up. The climate is normally very pleasant easter-late october.

What bike to bring?
The best bike for the Melogno area is probably a freeride bike, minimum 6 inches, but a lot of riders come with a full downhill rig though you have to be prepared to do a little pedalling here and there to access some trails. 

Can I rent a bike?
There is a limited number of freeride/DH/XC bikes to rent in the area, it is adviceble to book in advance. www.rivieraoutdoor.com

What else to remember to bring?
Insurance-a must, camelbak, helmet, any specific bike parts, we can't guarantee to have everything you might need. If you have special parts which require special tools we recommend you also bring the tools… And beach stuff(May-October).

How big are the groups?
A perfect number is probably 5 but our shuttle takes a maximum of 7 riders, made up by only your own group. We do not couple you up with others. This is to have a more homogeneous group of riders and to minimize eventual problems (mechanical e.g.) to make the most out of your day.

What else is there in the area?
Sandy beaches, a vast choice of climbing, road and xc biking, sailing and horseriding. A day trip to Genova is only 45 minutes away. Tasty italian food, ice cream and wine
